One more before Italy
My mother came over, during the last two days of my stay in paris. We had dinner at a friends place further out in the suburbs. it was a lovely all girls night and we even got to catch one live firing of fireworks, for Bastille day, in the open field behind her house. She also has the loveliest dog. and we also went the following day to visit the grandmother again and had dinner along the...

Ferdinand & Disneyland
did a little shoot with a guy i found interesting, whilst in paris. We were supposed to shoot in Pere Lachaise, an amazing cemetery where Jim Morrison and other famous people are buried. but it was closed, sadly. its okay shall save that location for next time. in the end we ended up shooting along Canal Saint Martin, which was really quite lovely as well, so no lost there. After the shoot,...

Museums and all that
I went to Musée de la mode. Trés cool.
Met James and went to Musée d’art Moderne, we rebels, snuck in from the back, and still got to see a pretty good selection of stuff. another mind blowing day, full of inspirations. any more of that my eyes would have burst, the eyebrows in a permanent raised postion, from all the wow-ing. hoped on over to the other kids ex-hotel,...

The Lourve & St Germain des pres
Some friends from Singapore also happened to be in Paris at that time, so i met them and we went to the Lourve. It was lovely. but seriously too much information for a single visit. I didn’t even get to go see the art from asia and africa. will have to leave that for next time. i also find it extremely fascinating how so many people crowd around to take...

Saint Germain en Laye & Monmartre
Saint Germain en Laye, the home of my father and his mother, where my grandmother reseides. Where i spent most of my time whenever i am in Paris. Sitting in the spare room of my grandmother, reading the Asterix and Obelix comics and nibbling on the Nestle Dark Chocolate Squares my grandmother has always given me. Was glad to be able to visit my grandmother, it is sad she has to go through...

Emin, Portebello & Spectrum

Shoreditch & Lohr
Shoreditch is a lovely part of London, still under-development but looks like what’s going to be a hub for london designers and the indie scene. Little quaint cafes and small specialised shops that sell quirky little things and independent designer clothing. There is a stark contrast between the fork in my path, left or right. Left looked like a far-cry of what we know as London, with...
